The Red rating is given to companies whose environmental management practices do not yet comply with existing regulations. Although the violations may not always cause severe environmental damage, companies in this category still fall short of required standards.
The Blue rating is awarded to companies that comply with environmental regulations. This rating indicates that a company has met the minimum legal requirements but has not yet demonstrated performance beyond compliance.
The Green rating is granted to companies that exceed regulatory compliance and demonstrate better than required environmental performance (beyond the compliance). Companies in this category often adopt more efficient and sustainable environmental management practices.
The highest level, the Gold rating, is reserved for companies that consistently demonstrate excellence in environmental management. This includes innovation, resource efficiency, and social contributions related to environmental sustainability. The Gold rating reflects a strong and long-term commitment to sustainable business practices.
